F.E. Beyer is the author of the noir novella, Buenos Aires Triad, a book largely based on his study of crime, immigration, and politics in Argentina. His articles and reviews have appeared in the South China Morning Post, LA Review of Books, Asian Review of Books, Inside Indonesia, & Travelogues Magazine. His decade spent in Asia and South America came after a spell of cotton chipping in New South Wales – this experience, working in the New Zealand post office, and the dream of becoming a fish farmer in Indonesia are the topics of his next book.
